Hi there, I live in an assisted living facility in Hawkins, Texas about 20 miles north of Tyler. I also have type 2 diabetes and as a result have the big toe on my right foot amputated and have a numbness in my right hand that makes it hard to use. Have a year-long pass to the state parks and a fairly nice car. Not a luxury car but it is nice. Am on Medicaid and trying to move out of The Gardens (Assisted Living) because they are taking every penny of my social security and we're not suppose to work but I have temporary work. The Gardens, not Medicaid rule. So my choices are move or work or both. And frankly there are better places than the Gardens. You should know that I presently have one female friend. I do want to get married but understand that friendship needs to come first. I am a Christian but when I was Young I got into legal trouble for some things one of which I am unlikely to tell you about unless we get extremely close.
