I value communication and and active lifestyle, and enjoy my work a lot still because of the strong relationships within the team I belong to. My formal education is in psychology, but I've been a working electronics engineer for almost 40 years, having started electronics when I was 10, and doing that stuff the way some guys do cars... I work for a German semiconductor company in the Bay Area.
I like outdoor activities, and our favorite vacations in the last 10 years were going interesting places abroad to hike and take in the local culture. Of course, there's not a lot of local culture in Antarctica, but it was still a pretty interesting place...

I live in the SF Bay Area, but get down to So Cal with some frequency due to my daughter's family being there- she and her husband and daughter are an important part of my life.
Music is also pretty important to me, as I have pretty wide tastes, and worked my way through college playing in bands- more challenging, but more satisfying too. I design and build stereo speakers for home use with friends from around the world, due to internet contacts.
So what's next is a rather open question at this point... just starting to think about that, at this point.
