I am in my mid 60s, in good health, and confident that the best years of my life are yet to come. I have now retired from working for state and federal government agencies (e.g. Labor and Commerce) and later for companies that dealt with these agencies. Retirement provides me with more time to socalize with a woman.
I've heard that online dating is a great way to meet. I hope to correspond with a lady that contacts me in order for us to get to know one another. Then if that goes well I hope to meet in person and take it from there. I'm hoping that my message reaches at least one lady with whom there is a mutuality of interest.
It is easier for me to describe the physical attributes that I desire in my partner than describing her personality or behavior, so I'll begin with appearance. As a short white man (5'6", 150 lbs) in his 60s, I am especially interested in a short (5'3" or less) white woman about 50 to 65 years old. As to those elusive personal qualities of the woman of my desire? Among them are easy going, interesting, and intellignet come to mind. These are also qualities I hope to convey.
I am not interested in travelling for excessive distances to meet up, and therefore, I would not likely correspond with a woman who lives more than 50 miles from Gaithersburg Maryland.
