I am a mature successful management executive. I have been single for many years and have focused on raising two amazing kids. My oldest is about to graduate from University and my son is still trying to figure it all out. Kids and family have been my priority. I believe all who know me would consider me to be kind, honest and wise. I am the sounding board for many around me. In recent months I am really feeling it is time to finds ways to make me feel happy and fulfilled. I believe that a mature relationship with a like minded person is part of the path to achieving this. I am about five years away from retirement. I am still healthy and energetic and see no reason to retire early. However, my focus is changing from building my own career to mentoring and building talent as part of succession planning. I am really enjoying shifting to a new leadership style.
As a youth I was active in sports and competed in athletics in Pentathalon and Sprint Hurdles. Upon retiring I gave back to the sport as a volunteer coach and Track and Field Team Manager for various International events including World Championships and Olympics. I have coached National Champions and Commonweath Games Medalists and Olympic Finalists. I waited to have a family for some time and since having kids I have focused on family and career. I have cared for two elderly parents and a sibling with cancer. With them now gone I consider myself the family anchor. All this to say I am ready to focus on me!
