Well, [if starting over at this stage of the game isn't daunting enough] I'm new to online dating, hopefully bringing with me the wisdom of more years behind and a determination to live the rest as best as possible.

A rational pragmatist, I'm interested in politics, like to make my own mind up on current affairs rather than accepting narratives promulgated by legacy media, looking to meet that special someone who can make every day all the more enjoyable, initially for friendship/companionship, maybe leading to more.
... finally, at the risk of being tarred with the epithet 'old fashioned' I'm not into endless texting and would much prefer a meet up over coffee (maybe lunch?) to see if there's a connection!
